Car World
Car World
Roof world where I hear the bells, roof world where I see blinking lights, green, red, white white white white. I see into windows of window worlds, where people and things live and spend some of their thing and people time. Roof world where I hear the cars, all I hear are the engines of the cars, faster and slower, rearing, nearing and faring, rearing and fasting and slowing and turning and going. The cars live in street world, in car world where the big trucks are the rhinos and the sports cars are tigers and the people are bunnies and squirrels. Bunnies and squirrels whothat run across the road when they don’t think predators are lurking, not seeing nor spying, too focused on car world, where the job is to go go go and they don’t do anything but go if they get the chance. In car world, it’s a bummer to be sat at home without a place to go, without being taken for a spin. If not, your legs will get tired, parts will get rusty, bodies won’t work as usual, as they used to, as they’re supposed to. It go go goes better when it’s used to going as it’s asked. It’s like the human body in that way, like a machine in that way. If the machine eats for fuel, wants the most efficient, best, cleanest fuel to go the longest and the clearest. That wants the fancy parts, the bad parts to be replaced with money if a person can just get enough money to do so. What else should they do with their money, if not make their body the best most fast working best looking machine in car world. Everyone’ll want to buy that car, then. Is that the goal? Making everyone else want to buy the your parks / making everyone else so envious of your parts that they save their money to buy ones just like yours? If so, that’s a sad game. Where else do you put your money once you have the right parts? Are you supposed to keep buying the next newest obese that come out yearly, the fashionable color of the season. In car world, what about the places it goes, the things it gets to see, the roads it finds itself on. That other cars haven’t yet. Well, there’s a thing to say here about escapism. About escaping from the old city, town, wherever to go somewhere new to see someplace else where cars act a lot differently. And what about leaving? And what about going, learning, and coming back with a whole lot learned. To share. And then what about sharing and sharing and sharing and sharing. Giving giving because that’s what this car world needs. What else could car world be? Car world could have great big divots in all the roads so that cars had to go slow or else more people would get killed. Car world could not keep fixing and fixing the bumpy roads and the really windy roads so that it wasn’t all smooth and fast and straight and cars wouldn’t want to go fast on them. Maybe ars then would need to go so fast through them. Why are all the cars in car world driving so so fast? Who decided that cars had to go so fast? Who decided that there was going to be so much to do in car world that the time cars had to move was so short, or the time they got was so short. Or that they had to go, even if it was inconvenient and so far away for car to have to drive all the time. It must have been at the time that they decided they needed more parts, or that they wanted the most money to buy better parts, or buy the parts that would make them better than the other cars. Or buy parts so that they didn't have to worry about being the best, because they are so scared that they were the worst. Now, what a different world, one where the cars are sad and scared and need to have the best parts or else they’re the worse or not good enough. It seems kind of hard to be in car world. To have to breathe fumes all day, to run on the worst substance of all time. To be inherently hateable by the environmentalists, to be excessive, wasteful, gas-guzzling, stupid, brute force labor machinery. Just a car. Crashable expendable. And what about the car as a big metal protection for all of the little people that drive it. A big metal case that keeps them safe in car world, which is usually a place like a highway, an in intersection, a really narrow bridge, or a parking lot. It’s scary to be a little person in car world.
